June 14th – An evening of Salmon and the Sea

5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Join us for a celebration of one of the incredible products of our local food system – salmon. The world of salmon is a fascinating story of natural beauty, perseverance and the amazing power of our oceans. Small salmonids leave our rivers and return from their ocean journey as magnificent specimens. We will feature as many species as possible and give you insight into the world of the Pacific Salmon


Pastrami cured salmon, potato and wild onion cake, pressed yoghurt with wild capers
Salmon and seaweed tart, pickled garlic ramps
Deerholme Farm Greens, air dried salmon jerky, crispy seaweed, Japanese flavours
Smoked salmon and pearl barley chowder, spicy seaweed and lemon aioli
Planked salmon, asparagus, greens and morel risotto, oyster butter sauce
Strawberries, grand fir shortbread, lavender jelly, sweet cicely cream
