July 9th — BBQ with the Masters

Join us at the farm with spe­cial guest Don Gen­ova of CBC and Pacific Palate fame. Don is well known for his pas­sion for Cana­dian Foods and for his love of all things grilled. We will be break­ing out our array of BBQ tech­nol­ogy includ­ing a Mem­phis Pel­let Smoker BBQ, var­i­ous char­coal and gas mod­els as well our Lit­tle Chief Smoker. Need­less to say there will be more smoke than a Cheech and Chong movie on our deck.

$90/person (plus HST) 5:00 pm — 9:00 pm

• Smoked Sock­eye Salmon Bruschetta with Pinot Gris Verjus
• BBQ Oys­ters with pureed aspara­gus and goats cheese

Grilled Beef Short Ribs with red wine glaze over soft truf­fled polenta

Spot Prawn Skew­ers with lemon gar­lic vinai­grette over an arugula and fava bean salad

Porchetta (Ital­ian sea­soned pork loin wrapped in pancetta) over grilled veg­etable salad with Sicil­ian flavours

Local Straw­ber­ries roasted on a cedar plank with Ven­turi Shulzi Bran­den­burg no. 3 zabaglione and laven­der shortcake.
