July 5th – A Carnivore’s Dream (Island Meat)

5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

We like to BBQ around here and each July we create a menu that celebrates the marriage of meat and smoke.This dinner will feature a tasting of locally raised meats paired with products from the gardens and farms of the region. This dinner is sure to be a highlight of the summer and a treat for all the senses.


4 hour smoked BBQ pork ribs with big leaf maple sauce
Mushrooms stuffed with house made rabbit sausage
Beer braised Beef shortribs with Korean flavours, miso-mushroom slaw
Taiwanese chicken and noodle salad with tea cured egg, cucumber and hoisin dressing
BBQ’d Lamb, curried potato salad, fresh mint sauce and seasonal vegetables
Duck egg custard trifle with summer berries and ginger lace cookies
